Character Modeling: Update 10_17_2011

He has hands everyone! He has hands! Now to do a once over, put in some internal objects, and do some of the small modeling details, then take some of him into Zbrush to add some minor touches.

Not much done really. Looking for work and doing things with family, but back into the fun! Added the neck, legs, shoes, and made some changes. I am going to start on the hands Monday, hmm that's today.

Character Modeling: Update 10_14_2011

More updates. I added his arms, pelvic region, and shoes. Next finish off the neck and legs, and possibly start on the hand itself, which might be a challenge. Not a whole lot of information to go from, so some artistic license is needed.

First Painted Tileable Texture

Fixes: (above)
Got rid of the darkness on the right side of the tile.
Fixed the continuous edge that was going straight down the bricks.
Darkened some bricks that were going horizontal which created a noticeable line across the texture.

First attempt at painted tileable textures. Needs some work, but its getting there. Going to do more of these, more practice the better.

Rough Armor Piece: Detailed in Zbrush

Something I roughed in for our main character, "Alex". Changes will be made but for now this is a roughed in version for details. The diffuse textures are being done by Heather Gross, so do not mistaken the bronze to be the actual textures.
