There were quite a few people today, some new and some that have been there before. The conversation started with some meet and greet and some random talks about 2D and 3D things. Mostly though the conversation was about animation schools, gaming and entertainment studios, and some tips and hints for those still in school. We also covered quite a bit about Virtual Reality and game developments for VR or any type of system. Overall good conversation and good people.
Speaking of people, we had a surprise visit from Executive Director Anne Denman. If for some reason any of you do not know who she is here is a brief intro. She came in and owned the room sharing her background and ideas. She came to talk about the Okanagan International Festival of Animation. Anne shared a bit of information, tips, and ideas it was a pleasure to meet her.
If you are around Kelowna come on down to Streaming Cafe located below Hyper Hippo on Tuesday from 8 am to 10:30 am. You never know who you are going to meet!
